Extravagant and Colourful Retail Space that Feels like Home

In 2015, internationally esteemed Swedish designer Martin Brudnizki and and his creative director at MBDS, Nicholas Jeanes came together to create And Objects, a range of furniture, lighting and accessories. When they opened their first retail space in 2023, we were delighted to work with MBDS to turn their designs into a reality.

Set in Newson’s Yard at the heart of Pimlico’s design district, the shop is wonderfully extravagant and colourful and feels more like a home than a retail space. 

The biggest challenge was to design and install an AC and ventilation system that was both discrete and current. Other works included new subfloor and hardwood planking, new partitions, WC, kitchen area, coffered ceiling with uplighting, staircase, lighting and high end decoration throughout, including an extraordinary fabric wallpaper with piping detail.
